  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 6 cups fresh or canned mangoes, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 cup crystallized ginger
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 packages dried mangoes

First, combine sugar and vinegar in a large pot over medium heat, bringing to a boil and stirring until the sugar dissolves.
